The Story

We are a local moving company in south Denver founded in 2023 by John. John was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and went to university at the University of Colorado at Boulder when Hurricane Katrina forced the closure of the university he attended in 2005. This was the first time John had traveled outside of the Gulf South, and he grew very enamored with Colorado and all it had to offer. He graduated from CU in 2009 during the after effects of the Great Recession (it was difficult to find a job in Colorado), and so he put his Business Marketing major to work by becoming a salesman for a construction company. The work was difficult, and the market was saturated at the time with entrants, many of whom were laid off or let go from companies downsizing at the time, and so John found a solution to make ends meet by offering delivery services with his pickup truck as a side-gig. He did this for three years in Colorado, until the special girl he met during his time at University of Colorado decided she was interested in becoming a public school teacher in the New Orleans recovery area, the same place John was from! So they decided they would both try pursuing their professional endeavors in the Big Easy together. John decided that with the skills and knowledge he had accrued, he could earn a happy living starting a small local moving company and continuing to learn and grow in this field. The company was very successful, and remains so to this day, but John and his now-wife decided that returning to Colorado to be near her family and the place John had fallen in love with 18 years earlier would be good for their two children and the life they’d always envisioned for themselves. So his wife fulfilled her goal of becoming a teacher in the Cherry Creek School District and John decided to pursue his true passion, providing top-quality services for people undergoing the complicated and stressful process of moving.
